A part of me was wondering earlier... have we (as adults) lost our creative motivation because our canvases are too small? I personally feel that the amount of things I'd like to express cannot be condensed to a canvas that's smaller than my body. Is this why babies and children have an easier time creatively expressing themselves?

Stuart Davis: Spiritual But Not Religious
During my Buddhist Psychology class last week, I was introduced to this beautiful video clip. Stuart Davis is an artist who's involved with the Integral Community. Here he's touching on the differences between Religion and Spirituality. I find that many speakers on this topic get too lofty, so I hope you find Stuart Davis' take on the topic to be entertaining.
Let me know what you think in the comment section below! I'd love to hear your take :D

Random Acts of Kindness
I saw this video a couple years ago, but it STILL remains a tearjerker. So powerful. I really like the fact that it's also one long continuous shot. It kind of ties everything together and solidifies the unity and equality within each of us. If it moved you, PLEASE share this video.

The Importance of Self Love
"A grate deal of chaos in the world occurs because people don't appreciate themselves. Having never developed sympathy or gentleness toward themselves, they cannot experience harmony or peace within themselves, and therefore, what they project to others is also inharmonious and confused." - Chogyam Trungpa's The Sanity We Are Born With.

Canticle Cosmos
I now understand that the universe was created from emptiness. Everything that ever was and will-be started in close proximity, and has since developed into it’s current state- every particle growing farther and farther away from one another (like chocolate chips in a baking cookie). The universe doesn’t develop into a space and time that already exists. These aspects are laid out and created as the universe unfolds. There is no state of permanence because the only thing that is constant is change. Depending on how you look at it, any point and every point can be considered ‘the center of the universe’. All energy is recycled and miraculous. I am comprised of the same energy that creates the universe, and the universe is comprised of the same energy that creates me. So in a sense, I am the universe and the universe is me. The universe is you, and you are the universe.
